Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival 2018 - Recap, Review, and Cigar & SWAG List

The Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival was my first large cigar event and it will definitely not be my last! What a great time and what an amazing value! Not only do you get to meet great cigar industry folks, but there were excellent libations and the event cigars/VIP package cigars are truly worth the cost of entry.

The music was great and added to the wonderful ambiance of the festival. The various breweries and distilleries were incredible! With the amount of micro-brew/distillers in the state, the variety available at a cigar festival is mind blowing. One that stood out to me was Blind-Faith Brewing, where I spent half of my tasting tickets getting refills of their Third Eye Tripel - Belgian Tripel!
The cigar offerings were decent from the smaller boutique brands, and some what disappointing from the larger brands. Caldwell, Room 101, La Barba – all had a strong spread with plenty of inventory to support the masses. Including almost every single major line they carry. Tatuaje had a great offering as well, with some sticks which are not often seen in every store – and a few special factory one off lines. Arturo Fuente disappointed with only bringing Chateau lines to the festival and what I must admit were very lovely ashtrays for sale. La Flor Dominicana had only brought a few boxes of their more desired lines which sold out immediately – however did have the LFD N.A.S. cheroot available to try at the after party at the pool.
Overall an excellent time with great cigars and time spent with friends new and old.

I have broken it down by initial gift bag cigars and accessories; cigars/accessories/gifts received because of the coupon book inside of initial gift bag and visiting the vendor tent. Given everything listed below, the value at retail is well over $600...and I'd be curious as to what cigars executive VIP got this year...as I may be interested in that next year! Cheers!
